Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes the terms under which we issue refunds for the Fresh Start Package and any other paid services offered by Hinge Unban (the “Service”). It is incorporated into our Terms of Service and forms part of your agreement with us.

1. 100% Money-Back Guarantee

We stand behind our Service. If you complete every step of the on-screen workflow exactly as instructed and are still unable to successfully sign up for a new account on the third-party dating platform addressed by our walkthrough, you may request a full refund of the amount you paid for the Fresh Start Package, subject to the conditions below.

2. Eligibility

To qualify for a refund under our guarantee, you must:

  • have purchased the Fresh Start Package directly from us through the Service;
  • have completed every step of the on-screen workflow exactly as written, including (i) creating a new Google or Apple ID, (ii) deleting and reinstalling the application from that new ID, (iii) using the leased phone number provided to you for the SMS verification step, and (iv) connecting the new ID inside the application;
  • submit your refund request within thirty (30) days of your purchase date;
  • include in your request: the email associated with your purchase, the date and order ID of the purchase, a clear description of where the workflow failed, and (where possible) screenshots or other reasonable evidence of the failure;
  • cooperate in good faith with any reasonable troubleshooting steps we propose before the refund is finalized.

3. Exclusions and Disqualifying Conduct

Refunds are not available, and the guarantee does not apply, where:

  • you did not follow the workflow as written, skipped a step, or substituted your own approach;
  • you reused identifiers associated with your previously banned or restricted account, including your prior phone number, Google account, Apple ID, payment account, device identifier, or IP/network in a manner inconsistent with our instructions;
  • you used the leased phone number for any purpose other than the one-time SMS verification expressly described in our instructions;
  • the failure was caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including changes by the third-party platform to its terms, policies, sign-up flow, detection systems, or verification requirements; outages or restrictions by Google, Apple, or any telecom provider; device-specific configurations; network issues on your end; or your violation of any third party’s terms;
  • you successfully created a new account and were subsequently banned, suspended, or restricted as a result of conduct on that new account;
  • your request is submitted more than thirty (30) days after the date of purchase;
  • we determine in good faith that the request is fraudulent, abusive, duplicative, made in bad faith, or is part of a pattern of repeat refund requests by the same individual;
  • the purchase was a discounted, promotional, gifted, or otherwise non-standard transaction expressly designated as non-refundable at the time of sale.

We reserve the right to deny a refund request for any of the reasons above. A denial under this Section is not a breach of these terms or of our guarantee.

4. How to Request a Refund

Send your request through our contact form with the information listed in Section 2. We aim to respond within five (5) business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within five to ten (5–10) business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. We are not responsible for delays caused by your bank, card network, or payment processor.

5. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer, so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly. Initiating a chargeback without first attempting resolution may result in (i) immediate suspension or termination of your account, (ii) forfeiture of any guarantee or refund rights, and (iii) our right to dispute the chargeback and provide documentation of your use of the Service to your bank or card network. We reserve all rights and remedies available to us under applicable law.

6. Discretionary Refunds

Outside the cases described above, all sales are final. We may, in our sole and absolute discretion, offer partial refunds, credits, or accommodations in exceptional circumstances. Doing so once does not obligate us to do so in any other case and does not modify this Policy.

7. Refunds and Taxes

Refunds are issued in U.S. dollars and exclude any taxes, processing fees, or currency conversion costs imposed by your bank or payment processor that are not refundable to us.

8. Modifications

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent change.
